On April 22nd, the world will be celebrating Earth Day. The hope is that we’ll use this day to reflect on the choices we make in our day-to-day lives that affect our planet, and take actions that can improve its health and longevity for future generations. To that end, we thought it would be cool to talk to Jill Primost from our Sustainable Commerce Team to talk about some ways that eBay is pitching in and doing our part year-round.
“We realized there was a need to help our buyers and sellers find out about all the great ways that eBay was helping them buy and sell in a more sustainable way,” says Primost. “Green consumers are really valuable consumers. We have a growing base of over 300,000 Green Team members – buyers and sellers on eBay who pledge to be green shoppers and be part of all the great sustainable initiatives that eBay has going on.”
