Last year eBay returned to the television airwaves with a dynamic new ad campaign just in time for the holiday season. This year, eBay is back in your living room with three brand new TV spots.
The commercials started airing on September 5th and will run through November 18th. The goal is to show shoppers that they can find the new designer and electronic goods that they want on eBay for immediate purchase using their smartphone or tablet. Fittingly, the new tagline is “From the new to the hard-to-find, when it’s on your mind, it’s on eBay.”
The ad campaign has launched in 18 markets across the US and will appear in multiple channels including print and social media.

The reason we wanted to share these spots with you is two-fold. First, we believe it’s important to demonstrate to our partners the investments we are constantly making in reinforcing the strength of the eBay brand. The more eBay sits at the top of mind for consumers, the more likely your site visitors are to want to click through your eBay creative and make a purchase. Second, think of these spots as a bit of free content to stimulate your audience. For example, if you’re a fashion blogger, why not embed one of these videos on your site to give your community a chuckle while subconsciously reminding them that they should be buying something on eBay?
