Optimize Deals Promotions with a New Feed

As we previously announced, approximately 1% of eBay’s Deals are no longer eligible for commissions in the U.S. and Canada. We understand that this impacts publishers who rely significantly on Deals, so we’d like to provide you with a way to identify which deals are excluded so you can optimize your Deals promotions.

You can access this real-time list of excluded deals in an XML feed at the following URLs:

U.S.: http://www.ebay.com/rps/feed/v1.1/epnexcluded/EBAY-US?limit=200

Canada: http://www.ebay.com/rps/feed/v1.1/epnexcluded/EBAY-CA?limit=200

You can see the total number of Deals items that are ineligible for commission by viewing the <totalCount> in the summary section of the XML file. The above link will only return the first 200 items, so if there are more than 200 items, you can view additional pages by visiting the following URLs:

U.S.

Page 3: http://www.ebay.com/rps/feed/v1.1/epnexcluded/EBAY-US?limit=200&offset=400

Canada

To import this XML file to Excel, follow the below steps for each page:

  1. In Excel, click Data > From Other Sources > From XML data import
  2. Paste in the URL above in the File: field
  3. Click Open
