We wanted to let you know that we will be adding several new fields to Downloadable Feeds on February 6, 2017 in order to help you better select which items to promote to your visitors.
Publishers in all global programs will see two additional fields in all Downloadable Item Feeds. A new “Ship To Locations” column will help you determine if the item can be shipped to your audience’s location. Possible values will include AT, AU, BE, CA, CH, CN, DE, ES, FR, GB, HK, IE, IN, IT, JP, MX, NL, NZ, TW, and US.
The second column we’re adding will help you estimate which items could generate the most in commissions. This new field is titled “% of Sale Estimate”, and these values are based on aggregate, typical earnings for the category of the item. This is an approximate percentage of the item price for attributed sales and should serve as an estimate for guidance as your actual earnings may vary. While this estimate does not factor in any publisher- or seller-specific pricing rules, it will help you identify non-commissionable items by displaying a value of 0% for those listings.
Edit: Please note that the data for the % of Sale Estimate field has been delayed and will not be available with the February 6 release. However, we do expect to be able to provide this information to you within the next few months. In the meantime, you’ll see a placeholder column for the % of Sale Estimate, which will contain blank fields until we are able to integrate this data. We hope this will allow you to prep your scripts in advance, and we’ll let you know as soon as we have an update on the data availability.
Additionally, if you participate in the German program, you’ll see an “eBay Plus Eligible” field in the DE feeds to indicate whether the item is opted-in to the eBay Plus program.
These new field additions will only apply to our Downloadable Feeds, and RSS Feeds are not affected. We hope you find this additional listing information helpful. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below or feel free to reach out to Customer Support at email@example.com.
