Representing eBay the right way can build trust with your audience and helps us maintain a level playing field for all partners.

Our Network Agreement and Code of Conduct spell out everything you need to know about working with eBay. We’ve listed out a few helpful highlights below:

  • Any eBay logo should appear on your site, apps, and social networks exactly as you download it from our Creative Gallery. You shouldn’t change the colors, typeface, or anything else about it.

  • We require partners to be very clear about their relationship with eBay. You can’t auto-redirect from your domain to eBay using an affiliate link. This means you should always feature links that clearly indicate in advance that you are sending buyers to purchase an item on eBay. In addition, whenever you’re promoting links, you must include any disclosures required by applicable law (e.g. FTC disclosures are required under US law.)

  • Don’t include eBay as part of any domain names or social media account names you use in any way that might confuse buyers about your relationship with eBay, or bid on eBay as a paid search term.

  • The eBay Partner Network exists for partners to send traffic to eBay from other sources. Links can only be posted outside of eBay, never on an eBay property. This also means that partners who are also sellers can’t include affiliate links within their eBay listings, eBay Store or eBay Messages.
